There are three main types of beer. These are top-fermenting (Ales), bottom-fermenting (lagers) and spontaneous-fermenting beers (lambics). Lambic Chart: A lambic beer is produced by natural fermentation by being exposed to the wild yeasts and bacteria in the air. Truse lambics are brewed in the Pajottenland region of Belgium.
